Poker has a long and passionate history in Brazil. From live tournaments in São Paulo and Rio to online circuits moving millions of BRL every week, Brazilians have always had a natural talent for cards and sharp thinking. The 888neko was built with this player in mind: a platform that respects your intelligence, offers fair game conditions, and puts the right tools in your hands — whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned veteran.
What sets 888neko poker apart is the combination of game variety, active tables at any hour, smooth software on both mobile and desktop, and a tournament structure that works for everyone — from players starting with BRL 1.00 to those chasing bigger prizes in weekend special events. All withdrawals are processed via Pix in under 2 minutes, with support available in Portuguese whenever you need it.
Texas Hold'em is, without a doubt, the most popular poker variant in the world and in Brazil. Each player receives two hole cards, five community cards are revealed in three stages (flop, turn, and river), and the best 5-card combination wins. Easy to learn, yet with a strategic depth that takes years to fully master.
At 888neko you'll find Hold'em tables in every format and size: full ring with 9 players for those who prefer a more cautious pace, 6-max for a more aggressive game, and heads-up (one-on-one) for the boldest players. Blinds range from R$ 0.02/R$ 0.05 at the micro-stakes tables all the way up to R$ 25.00/R$ 50.00 in the high-limit rooms. There's always a table at the right level for you.
Omaha is the second most popular variant and has been rapidly growing among Brazilian players. The key difference from Hold'em is that each player receives four hole cards — and must use exactly two of them combined with three of the five community cards. This produces stronger hands more often and larger pots, making Omaha an especially exciting game.
In the Hi-Lo variant (also known as 8-or-Better), the pot is split between the best high hand and the best low hand, adding an extra layer of strategy. 888neko offers Omaha in both cash game format and dedicated tournaments for players looking to try this more technical variant.
Beyond the traditional player-vs-player tables, the 888neko offers live poker variants where you play against the house, hosted by a real dealer via live video stream. Three Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, Casino Hold'em, and Ultimate Texas Hold'em are among the titles available 24 hours a day.
In these games you don't need to worry about bluffing or reading other players — the challenge is making the best strategic decisions against the dealer's hand. Bets starting at BRL 5.00 and HD streaming make this an accessible and entertaining option, especially for players new to poker or looking for a change of pace from the regular tables.
Sign up, deposit BRL 50.00 or more via Pix, and receive BRL 200.00 in bonus funds to use on 888neko poker cash games and tournaments.

As soon as you fold, you're instantly moved to a new hand at a different table. Far more hands per hour — a fast-paced way to build experience quickly.
Tournaments are the heart of online poker, and 888neko has a packed schedule every day of the week. For beginners, the Wednesday freerolls are the ideal entry point — at no cost, you join a real tournament, feel the pressure of elimination, and can still walk away with real money in your account. It's the most efficient way to learn tournament play without any financial risk.
For players with some experience, Sit & Go tournaments are perfect for quick sessions. Register, wait for the table to fill (usually under 5 minutes during peak hours), and the tournament kicks off. In a 9-player format, the top three finishers take home a prize. In turbo format, blinds escalate faster and everything wraps up in 30 to 45 minutes — ideal for a quick session before work or on a break.
Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) are the most traditional tournament format and the one that attracts the most serious players. At 888neko, daily MTTs run on fixed schedules with buy-ins ranging from BRL 5.00 to BRL 200.00 and guaranteed prize pools regardless of the number of entries. The highlight is the 888neko Sunday Series: every Sunday night, a tournament with a BRL 50,000.00 guaranteed total prize pool, a deep stack structure that rewards strategic play from the start, and slowly rising blinds that give you quality playing time throughout.
For players with less time on their hands, Turbo MTTs pack the full tournament experience into 2 to 3 hours. And if a tournament starts while you're busy, the late registration feature lets you join within the first 30% of opening hands — so a last-minute commitment won't cost you your seat.
Satellites are qualifying tournaments where the prize is a seat in a larger event. At 888neko, you can win a spot in the Sunday Series by entering a R$ 5.00 satellite — instead of the R$ 100.00 direct buy-in. It's a smart way to chase bigger prizes with minimal investment, and it's a strategy used by top professional players worldwide.

Poker is a skill game with a short-term luck element. Over the long run, the best players win consistently because they make better decisions — not because they run better. Here are some fundamentals every player should know before sitting down at the 888neko:
One of poker's most important lessons is that playing in position — meaning you act last in a round — is a huge advantage. You get to see how other players act before making your decision, which gives you far more information. At 888neko tables, the dealer button moves every hand, so position shifts constantly. Learn to play more hands when you're late in position and be more selective from the blinds or early seats.
One of the biggest differences between beginners and experienced players is hand selection. It's tempting to play every Ace that comes your way or every pocket pair, but playing weak hands out of position is one of the main ways to lose money. Start with a tight range — high pairs (AA, KK, QQ, JJ), high suited connectors, and Ace with a strong kicker — and expand as you gain experience and confidence reading situations.
Pot odds are the ratio between how much you need to call to stay in a hand and how much is already in the pot. If the pot is R$ 100.00 and it costs you R$ 20.00 to see the next card, your pot odds are 5:1 — meaning you only need to hit 1 out of 6 times for the call to be mathematically correct in the long run. Grasping this basic concept already puts you ahead of the vast majority of recreational players.
No matter how skilled you are, bad runs happen in poker. Bankroll management protects you from these inevitable swings. A common rule for cash games is never to sit at a table with more than 5% of your total bankroll. If your bankroll is R$ 200.00, play at R$ 0.50/R$ 1.00 tables (max buy-in R$ 100.00) — don't move up in stakes out of impulse or ego. At 888neko you can set deposit limits on your account to reinforce that discipline.
With these fundamentals in place and the variety of formats that 888neko offers — from freerolls to the Sunday Series —, you have everything you need to grow as a poker player at your own pace. The journey is long, but the road is a lot more enjoyable with a reliable platform by your side.
Small adjustments that make a real difference to your session results.
In the first few minutes of a session, watch how other players act before getting involved in big pots. Spot who plays aggressively, who plays passively, and who is already tilting.
The 888neko app is optimized for mobile, but avoid playing in distracting environments. Poker demands constant focus — every missed detail can lead to a costly mistake.
Use the time available to think, especially in big hands. Acting on impulse in complex spots is one of the most common ways to make mistakes.
Log the result of each session, the format you played, and any decisions you weren't sure about. Reviewing that history helps you spot patterns and plug leaks in your game.
Tilt happens when emotions affect your decisions after a bad beat. Watch for the signs — impulsive bets, mounting frustration — and step away before continuing.
If you're just starting out, 888neko's weekly freerolls are the perfect place to learn how tournaments work without any risk. You build real experience without touching your balance.
